Bourbon is owned by Ellen Wilson Schultz of Apollo Goldens in Houston, Texas
Bourbon started his show career by winning Best In Match at 12 weeks old and by 17 months of age this youngster was a new AKC Champion! As a Special, Bourbon was awarded multiple Specialty Best In Shows and Sporting Group wins under both breeder judges and all-breed judges alike. He entered the Golden Retriever Club of America Show Dog Hall of Fame in May of 2002 and was nationally ranked in the Top Twenty for the years 2002 and 2003.
Bourbon is currently retired from the show ring and standing at stud. He is enjoying life with the rest of the Apollo gang and is looking forward to competing again as a veteran in the near future.
